Ramona Falls--Hidden Alcove Salmonberries

One of the Pacific Northwest's many waterfalls, Ramona Falls shimmers down a rocky precipice toward a shallow pool below. Beside the falls, small alcoves catch some of the splashes and create sanctuaries where moss and fragile ferns grow abundantly. A beam of sunlight sneaks through the rushing water of the main falls and illuminates the stem of Salmonberry just before its leaves caress the dark, still water. Framed. (Original)
